Important Notice

Volvo Spares Scrap Yard is an independent used parts supplier. We are not an authorised Volvo Cars dealer or service centre. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Volvo Car Corporation or Volvo Cars South Africa. All Volvo trademarks and model names belong to their respective owners and are used here solely for identification purposes.

1. Definitions

"We", "Us", and "Our" refer to Volvo Spares Scrap Yard, located at 89 Chris Hani Road, Briardene, Durban North, KwaZulu-Natal, 4051. "You" and "Your" refer to the customer purchasing parts or services from us. "Parts" refers to used automotive components sold by us.

2. Product Information

All parts sold are used/second-hand unless otherwise stated. While we make every effort to accurately describe items, used parts may show signs of normal wear. Images on our website are representative and may not depict the exact item you will receive. We recommend confirming specific part numbers and compatibility before purchase.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice. Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Payment methods accepted include cash, credit/debit card, and electronic funds transfer (EFT). Full payment is required before dispatch of parts.

4. Warranty & Returns

All parts carry a standard warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects that render the part non-functional under normal use. The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation or modification
  • Normal wear and tear beyond the condition described at sale
  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, or neglect
  • Consequential damages or losses arising from part failure
  • Electrical components that have been connected incorrectly

To claim under warranty, contact us with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue. We will assess the claim and, if valid, replace the part or issue a credit at our discretion. Return shipping costs for warranty claims are the customer's responsibility.

5. Delivery

We deliver nationwide via courier service. Typical delivery times are 2-3 working days, though rural areas may take longer. Delivery costs are calculated based on parcel weight and destination. Risk passes to the buyer upon handover to the courier company. We are not liable for delays caused by the courier service or circumstances beyond our control.
